question: will I get an achievement for completing the game without the help of spirits in ng+ or do I need to start the game from the very beginning, I'm missing 1 achievement for platinum?

it has to be done on regular ng, you can't get it on ng+

From what I have heard, you have to start whole new game because NG+ is useless in this game, there is no reason playing it.

no, you have to start a new game cause it counts advocacy usage from the previous playthrough, it has nothing to do with how useful or "useless" ng+ is, whatever that even means

That is why it's stupid, why would the game have to remember that you have used summons in the previous cycle. If you start NG+, everything should be renewed, except the classic NG+ things.

The same thing happens when going for true ending as well I think, I have heard that you can't get the true ending achievement in NG+ and you have to start from a whole new save. I collected all of the collectables in NG, did all the side missions, but chose wrong dialogue at the end and didn't get the true ending so I entered NG+ to finish it, while also doing the NG+ achievement, but I can't because for whatever reason, the game just wants you to play over and over again until you get everything if you accidentally miss something so in the end, playing NG+ gives you nothing.

the devs said they're working on fixing it but until then the achievement only triggers on regular ng

If that is true, then cool. I am standing right in front of the true final boss in NG+ and I am not moving an inch until they give me achievement for beating him lol.

Thats kinda annoying, started my NG+ run today but i guess i need to wait. Its the Last Achievement im missing right now, reached even the max level in Normal Game.. (Its 200)
