But with access to epic crafting after finishing NG I crafted a full set of Skalpel's set and Gale: Doom + Phantom: Bloody Sword Dance is totally insane.
They really need to crank things up a good bit.
NG+ seems easy most of the time because you already know what the bosses do, but if you let someone new to the game play NG+, they would say that it's impossible lol.
This is not true. You don't even need to guard or dodge anymore. Bosses are a joke now look:

And I personally don't mind that NG+ and NG++ are easier than NG0. It feels rewarding being able to use OP gear like that and have your revenge on all the bosses that you might have struggled the first time. But I do agree that it would have been nice if there is more new to it except just more skills and gear rarity.
Gear drops themselves also feel near worthless because I can just reroll every stat, with the current scaling you probably should have been limited to only being able to reroll one stat on the item. A system similar to Nioh's star rolls would have also been nice to make me care about actually looking at anything that drops.
So spear and dual wield are overpowered now. Why even play greatsword if you are just gonna complain about it. Especially since you can in-fact just furious swipe, war cry or reflect/ counter attack through everything and win in two combos on just about every boss in ng+ on greatsword while never dodging or blocking. Just because your no active skill using no damage build can’t do it doesn’t mean the weapon can’t do it.
The issue with NG+ mode in Khazan is that it is boring and pointless experience to say the least. It is also very confusing to see NPCs in The Crevice be present that should not be there based on the state of the progress you are at. This situation also make many side mission pointless or irrelevant. Collectibles such as soulstones or jarlings are already gone so exploration is even less needed. I had to push myself very hard to even reach first few bosses and craft some armors I did not in NG0. The only real reward is the additional power gained from new stats and skills offered by the sets. This is good power fantasy but I feel it is not enough to run through the game that is 100% copy of the original run.
