Hey instinct_Killer
I understand that he can be hard, it started like that for me aswell but i have 2 BIG tips to make that fight super doable.
1: scalpel sometimes step on his coffin and charge at you and evantually transform. You can completely block this attack and its transformation.
Hold ready your highest damage skills and as soon as he goes on top of the coffin just use em. if you got some good skills at the ready you probably can get him down before he even charges ones.
I have only done this strat with my dual weapons against him and with that i used "ruthless" to get him down. for the other weapons I cant give a recommendation yet.
(i believe his coffin gets more health the more times scalpel has hit you with his sword)
2: scalpel has 3 "subphases" on depending on his % of his healthbar, the only thing they really change is how long he chains his attacks. this actually makes him easier to some extend.
You wanne watch for 1 of his sword attacks, he has one where he holds his weapon to his right side and winds up wich you can use reflection on, but in lower health he repeats this right swing a few times before he finishes that combo. you can use any of those repeated strikes as a fairly easy reflection.
It is possible to use reflection on some of his other attacks but on this attack it becomes so trivial that you might wanne only do it on that just to not risk failing a reflection.
watch out for a similar attack where he charges his sword closer to his side and more vertical, this attack has a much quicker windup and i haven't been able to reflect it consitently.
In short -> smash his coffin
-> reflect his right sweep sword attack
His health depletes over time in the second phase but that's so slow I couldn't wait for it.
Ozma is a bit like Hismar. Both are easy because they are idling too much.
Hismar collapses 3 times in a row at about 50% life and after that goes into his second phase with 5% life remaining.
Ozma has long animations that cost him 10% of his life in phase 1 and 2.
Phase 3 is a joke and not worth mentioning.
And both are still harder than the princess.
Reese was the hardest after Skalpel.
Sure you could abuse Skalpels life drain in phase 2 but if you didn't I think
Skalpel > Maluca > Viper > other bosses
