Trance is useless after latest patch, don't even bother with it.

If you were one of the many players who loved using Trance for the damage increase, forget about it; it's not there anymore. Linking with an additional fury skill is so bad overall that I detected up to a 75% damage loss after my normal combo, which I used to do against bosses. Rip. If this is what they wanted, they just basically deleted a spear skill, period.

It is not useless it still stunlocks. Just deals little damage if you use it after a normal attack. It is gutted hard but not useless.

Compared to what dmg it did and how it worked before, it is useless. That's what we call "nerfed into Oblivion"

Bloodthirsty set and Gale:Doom still melts bosses though so there's that. I'm not too bothered by the nerf. I'm a Frontal Assault and Stamina DMG guy. I just rolled Brutal Attacks onto my armor pieces. I'm currently doing NG2 again. Level 272. Stamina DMG Increase at 90% and Brutal Attack DMG 470, Brutal Attack DMG Increase 70& and Brutal Attack Multiplier at 40% plus. Base Attack DMG should be lower but the new spear's scaling makes up for it. Still not as effective as the Trance tactic but that got old quickly anyway.

I watched too many streams and youtube videos where spear users were melting the bosses life bar. I think it's time for spear users to join the rest of us.
