Build your skill base on: Whirlwind + Phantom: Sword dance.
Optional: Flash Cutter for tech chase, Wind Piercer can work well with Phantom SD cause alot of DOT.
When combat just buff Phantom: Sword dance first, then only X+Y+Y; X+Y+Y.
Use accessory have Chaos Resistance if you can not dodge or block well.
My strategy for Ozma was to reflect his sword move at the start, then he gets stun locked. Repeat this 2-3 times and the first phase is done. Second phase is a little trickier, but since his stamina doesn't recover in that phase and you he stays exhausted for a while, it opens him up for some massive damage.
And if you are at the point where epic equipment is available to you, you can use Bloodthirsty Fiend's Dual Wield with the Unending Tragedy Set and shred him.
take a good beer, i mean breath,
and endure
Excellent spoiler, I like knowing all of the plot twists in advance so that i dont get too interested.
You're 20 hours in, you should be well past the big reveal by now.
Garnet would use Ark to damage Ozma for 7000+ while the rest of party would heal back to full hp with Auto-Regen (I maxed out the skill that guaranteed the long summon sequences, and Ark's is super long). Freya would spam Dragon's Crest for 9999, Vivi would cast doomsday to heal the party (everyone had absorb-shadow equipment iirc) and damage Ozma for about 7000 as well, and Zidane was just... there.
