The problem is you are using palit. Just sell it and buy an asus one.

it's a common problem with 5090 melting their own wires, dude
good job buying the BETA CARDS LMAO for a high price. get what you choose. noob. ALL new RELEASE ITEMS are DEMOS FOR NOOBS like you to buy. wait 8months to 1 year after then fix the low resources and product improvements. look at ps5 > ps5 slim and now pro lmao poor noobs who bought ps5 and slim lmao

how about, nintendo switch, lcd now oled and better battery lmao same with Steam deck.

bud you got a faulty noob, low resource made video card lmao

Sounds like you either need a new cooler or apply new thermal paste.
What is the problem? Is it crashing? Card is 600w or so TDP so its going generate lot of heat if fully utilized. Back in the days my gtx 570 reached 92c when playing Battlefield 3, i just kept playing for hours and hours and nothing happened.

It's sadly normal at 4k dlaa. This game runs hot at 4k high frames.

My 4090 goes into 70s in this game at 55% fan speed. No game has managed that yet. Not rebirth, not cyberpunk, not monster hunter, not ac shadows. This game somehow does though. This is with more cooling than most.

Fps is great though. Just feels like it's drawing too much power for what's being presented on screen.

You can use dlss quality to try and lessen the load on the gpu if you are concerned. Or can turn fans up. Usually the default fan curves are not enough for these games @4k anymore.

Sad to see the ones above posting when they have no idea what they are talking about. You don't want your gpu past 80-85c for long periods of time.

@Lucdicrits yes it only happen with this game, event playing cyberpunk i get max 74oC. well i think im going to put waterblock on my gpu, thx bro
If you have DLAA enabled turn that off. It makes my RTX 4080 draw a lot of power from the PSU and in turn makes it run a lot hotter.

I've seriously been considering it as well lately. Terrified to take apart a perfectly working 4090 In today's market though.

From what I have seen online 4090s and 5090s benefit greatly from it though. I wish you luck!
My watercooled MSI 4090 also hits 70C in this game. No other game gets it this high and I will usually peak in mid 60s.
