Sounds like you either need a new cooler or apply new thermal paste.
My 4090 goes into 70s in this game at 55% fan speed. No game has managed that yet. Not rebirth, not cyberpunk, not monster hunter, not ac shadows. This game somehow does though. This is with more cooling than most.
Fps is great though. Just feels like it's drawing too much power for what's being presented on screen.
You can use dlss quality to try and lessen the load on the gpu if you are concerned. Or can turn fans up. Usually the default fan curves are not enough for these games @4k anymore.
Sad to see the ones above posting when they have no idea what they are talking about. You don't want your gpu past 80-85c for long periods of time.
I've seriously been considering it as well lately. Terrified to take apart a perfectly working 4090 In today's market though.
From what I have seen online 4090s and 5090s benefit greatly from it though. I wish you luck!
