Controller Input Delay in Lake City Aldevir

I just reached the Floodgate Nexus in Aldevir and am experiencing frequent input delay. I initially thought it was my controller that was the issue but it seems really consistent with this particular map. Other levels don't have this problem. I thought I was just being ass with the timing, but I tested in the pause menu as well. When I cycle through the menu items by just going down, there are frequent pauses where it doesn't detect the press.

Seen people in the threads reporting input delay in general, but mine seems specific to this level (so far, I haven't gotten further then this area)
