This is my build
But if you want 1 full set then
- Crushed Dreams or Faded Memories
Stunned Jar
Golden Pauldrons
Golden Gauntlet
Golden Leggings
Executioner's Combat Boots
Necklace of Strikes
Reese's Ring
I don't like using the entire Golden Set because I don't think the skill it unlocks is all that great. You can easily enough get behind enemies with Shadow Reversal and once you're behind them, you wanna stay behind them, not zip back and forth. That's also the reason I prefer not to use the Deep Shadow set pieces, as they buff front attacks but back assault is more beneficial for many enemies.
Trance is a very powerful skill, therefore a direct 20% buff to it that multiplies with your other damage buffs is very desirable, hence 3 Golden set pieces to get that buff.
Executioner's gives you a +15% to overall stamina damage so that's really nice.
The Cutthroat set piece (Necklace of Strikes here) is for the +20% back assault damage, since going behind enemies already is a good way to deal with many enemies, this just makes it even more effective.
Faded Memories (Reese's Ring here) gives a +20% to stamina recovery which is nice to have.
For the accessory slots you really can switch them out for other stuff you might prefer, like the Strategist set (30% to halve damage) or whatever else.
The spear is also exchangable for other stuff but I like this one because it extends your brink dodge window (need at least epic rarity but that's a given for NG+) and the set bonus could be better, but it buffs charged attacks which I think should also affect a charged Spiral Thrust which is a potent finisher to use after a wombo combo and brutal attack. Maybe even buffs charged javelin? Not sure though.
Which pieces?
I've heard Drowned Witch is pretty cool if you use the ranged attacks and javelin.
But yeah if you just want pure power, just stack single bonuses, though you miss out on some of the cool style of the set capstones...
