First Berserker ending NG+

I completed all the side missions and collected all the collectibles, but unfortunately I didn’t choose the optional ending at the end.
Do I have to do everything again in New Game+?
I still have the 15 golden scrolls in my inventory, after all.

Do you mean you didn't speak to Daphrona near the end ?
Did you fight last boss already ?
(you keep almost everything in NG+, including scolls)

Yes, yes, I spoke to her... I just selected the wrong option and didn't ask for the 'truth.'
Yes, the final boss is defeated, and now I'm trying to unlock the true ending in NG+.

Now, I basically just have to play through it again and complete all the side missions

I'm facing the same problem but haven't killed the final boss yet, if anyone finds a solution to this problem let me know too

It's not a problem at all. There was a choice, you guys chose, and...that's that.

you can DL save state on mods site if you don't plan to achieve the achievement.

But otherwise, you should redo the game indeed (NG+ is easier and way faster)

hey guys, I am facing the same outcome, did you find an answer to your question?

if you did all side quests and have the as complete in Khazan’s memories and have alm epic collectibles, can I just speed run the main questline in NG+ for the True Beserker Ending trophy?

What happen if you simple start mission over and choice correct option?
This should work I think. Unless she won't give you option even if you start over. But I suppose she should reset

Yes you can.
But keep in mind that in NG+, there are 3 crafting recipes for 3 elemental weapons (the ones you get when you first fight Ozma, you know?), and one recipe for a consumable item.

Only option "I will have my revenge" have 2 phase Ozma.

Basically yes. Even if you do everything in the game, it really just comes down to the dialogue. And like so many, I had no clue about this. They don't give you any indication of this affecting the final fight. Gotta do a NG+ after if you want that achievement/true ending. Really bad design choice there IMO.

Clearly a bad design choice.
They should do it the way many Metroidvanias do. You beat the end boss and then you're brought back a bit before that at a point where you can collect everything that you missed and fulfill the conditions for other endings.
