I'm nearing 30 attempts. I almost had him earlier!
You'll either have a miserable time with bosses or it will be a cake walk...
Earlier I had to fight the spider and the first several attempts were miserable.
Then suddenly I wrecked with leftover healing items on my 5th or 6th try...
For me was really hard, but Malukah was way harder. He's the only one I couldn't beat in the same game session.
I’m gonna replay the last few missions to grind up some loot and lacrima to get stronger
Healthy advise tho, this wont work on "something" later xD So better train now xD
I don't want to use spirits. I need to beat the game without summoning spirits for the achievement
I beat him today after like 8 attempts. Thankfully his stamina sucks so you can easily break him but his katana moves are quick so it felt better to dodge instead of guarding his attacks most of the time because of the chaos status. If you're using spear moonlight dodge and phantom: Heatwave are your friends.
As for Viper it's memorizing his patterns brink guard the combo's you can and if you don't feel confident about certain attacks it's better to either guard through or get some distance between you and him.
