(SPOILERS FINAL BOSS) That was a crazy and long ride...

I just defeated Ozma and I have my recording in the background on Steam so I just edited the whole fight out of the video and it took me 6:15 RAW fight gameplay AND the funniest thing is that my Ozma only had 2 phases because I guess I didn't do the true ending.

Fighting a boss like that for 6 minutes is I must say, quite a lot, isn't it? I don't even want to imagine how long the TRUE final boss would take me.

I saw someone under a Hismar post replying to me that all fights shouldn't take more than 4 minutes, I have a feeling that Hismar might have took me similar amount of time to beat, but the fight was much more chill because Hismar was just flying around a lot and that is where the most time went... this Ozma was pure focus for whole 6 minutes and it's very exhausting lol.

Yeah, I am talking about you. Not sure what cheese build you use, but it's impossible to defeat these bosses that fast. True final boss would easily take me 8-9 minutes lol.

I also play the game very aggresively so it's pretty much impossible to defeat it faster lol.

I'm sure it's possible to defeat it faster but yeah, it's definitely the healthiest boss. The 3rd phase doesn't take very long. Having fully upgraded gear can also make a big difference. I went back and killed him after making an epic rarity set that was properly leveled and cut my time in half essentially. And of course, if you really get the reflections going, you can speed up the fight a lot.

I don't use reflections at all because no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't figure out the timings at all.

I beat Ozma with the true ending, and his FINAL final phase is not that difficult, if you can perform counters well. Your brutal attacks do silly amounts of damage - I managed to finish him off in 3 or 4.

I was already at 0 heals when I killed him so I think I wouldn't be able to finish 3rd phase as well, but the boss is actually not hard as one would expect.

What really was killing me most of the time were all those range and AoE attacks which were very annoying sometimes. Especially the chaos tornadoes, that was a bit unnecessary imo, but well, he is down. I might try NG+ in the future and get the true ending so I can get 100%.

I also looked at how am I supposed to get the true ending and I answered wrong to Daphrona's question lol, I was thinking for like 10-15 seconds between the revenge answer and the "I must know the truth" answer and I was really close to choosing the "truth" option, but I just chose the left answer that I just want revenge. I had all my collectables and side missions done, this was a bit of a misstep, but it doesn't really matter, I at least know what to expect in the future.

Now do it without already beating him probably multiple times already :)

Of course you are gonna beat him quickly if you already know every single small opening where you can squeeze a hit or two on him.

I knew I should have saved my first win. It didn’t take me much longer to beat him my first try and it looked very similar. Here is my secret: I’m bad at the game and I die a lot. By the time I beat a boss it always looks like the runs in my videos. I hyperfixate on reflect timings and combo paths which is both my detriment and strength. By the time I win I have dissected every move and string. I have the opening of the fight down to a science because it’s the part I experience the most. In my first win phase 1 looked exactly and I do mean exactly like that. How do you think I figured out that combo? You think I opened the game code and broke down at a programming level how his hit stun works? No. I just fought phase one many many times.

And I had a blast doing it. Every. Single. Time.

Wish he had more hp so I could do it more.

funny thing - 0 heals and a smidge of HP was when I found out Ozma has a second phase
