Spider boss.
The spider boss is insanely difficult and pretty annoying.

Sweep the leg.
No seriously, go for the legs. Hit em as hard as you can.
Alternatively switch to great sword and use Inner Fury. It targets weakpoints directly, but you will need to dodge to the side of each leg to land it.

youre gonna have a tough time lmao

Break its 2 front legs, that deals heavy damage, however be careful as its moveset changes slightly because of that.
Some time after breaking even just one leg it can retreat back to regrow broken limbs, which will also regenerate its stamina, the only thing you can do to stall it is throwing javelins until it falls, though that only gives you a few seconds since it will go right back up.

Really BRO? I found it more difficult Viper, which took me much more attempts even Moldavo, The spider did not present so much difficulty and to deblock the blacksmith is essential.
in my case I defeated him the first time, has almost the same patterns as the medium spiders, just take the Temple to the maximum to take advantage of the skills, in my case I use a set of Spear, where I use more agility than strength.
Greetings
there is a single boss left in the game now that I havent heard any complaining about and unfortunately it isn't yetuga
this gotta be trolling this is the easiest boss after the yeti

Spider is like the easiest boss in the game, except Yetuga brothers
Spider McBoss was appropriately difficult following Blacksmith Goat. I only had issues when it gave his legs status as I brink guard. The easiest thing to do is smash a leg and then get a bunch of free damage from javelining it off the wall.

I'll try that. But facing him head on is worse. He stuns you constantly. It's freaking annoying.

It is kind of like Sekiro in that if you are landing your Deflects your posture will never break. If you land your Brink Guards you aren't going to get exhausted. I believe you only get exhausted if your stamina drops to zero from an attack or guard. Perhaps it is easier said then done but that was my approach and I died quite a bit.

I was having a horrible time with the great sword trying to beat the spider. I switched to spear and destroyed first try (after training how to combo spear). What wep are you using? and as already said, go for the legs! There's more then 1 lock-on option to chose.

No it isn't. I believe the update made him harder. He isn't even close to easy.
The parrying isnt hard on this boss, it gets to the point where you can break the legs and if you dodge behind him the back is his weak point.
