Improve Trokka fight
Whoever designed this fight is a mad genius. Just the idea of a ranged, constantly evading enemy in a melee combat game is mind-blowing. Obviously everyone will love to chase after an enemy who runs teleports away while shooting deadly projectiles at you.
The color scheme made to blend in with the environment and the whole character looks the same so that you aren't able to see the character and what she does clearly.
You constantly get your stamina reduced in a fight where you have to run around and dodge a lot.

So, taking all those awesome genius design decisions, I recommend to improve on them.
- Make her teleport at a larger distance. Preferably diagonally across the arena.
- Change her colors to make he blend in with the arena more, or better yet - make her completely invisible and only show something when you are about to get hit.
- Lock the stamina bar completely. What kind of berserker needs movement? No, we must stay in one place and parry everything until she teleports to us with the burst attack, so we can finally parry her and do some direct damage.
I bet everyone will love this fight so much more!

p.s. for those who are going to write about skill issue: I killed her already. The fight is not even hard, just damn annoying.

I think she is well design in hit and style cause when you do reach her she has no poise and becomes a punching bag.

I do agree on she and Belleria sometimes had barely noticable hitscan projectiles

a punching bag that runs away from you, flyes around the arena and shoots bombs at you and has a skill to reduce your stamina bar to what seems to be the base unleveled version of it.

Gap close with gs? What is that skill?

I forget the name. It’s in the dash tree I believe. They do a quick moving spin slash that when upgraded can chain into dash attacks. It’s invincible. If you hold left or right when doing it instead of neutral or forward you will do a half circle around your locked target which is really nice to get to the back of enemies for extra damage. Cool skill and great combo tool.
Furious Swipe, i would not call it insane gap close. Its good when some one attack you, not when enemy is trying to run away. The real problem with gs in that fight you can all in her and very good only after some of her moves, other of her moves can and will dodge or interrupt you. The fight itself inconsistent and depend what AI is goind to do. She may tp to you or may just standing away and use projectiles.

all of that wouldn't even really be an issue if her hp was properly balanced for her type of enemy

In most other soulslikes, a ranged enemy will have weak stagger and lower hp. Here most enemies don't have balancing downsides no matter what their type is.

I personally don’t care what you think about it. I’ll keep using it to invincible dash through a projectile and combo trokka.

you can stun lock the boss with spear from 100% stamina(boss stamina) to 0%. can you do that with gs?

Not really. She tends to jump out or umbrella guard. Doesn’t really matter though because she dies in 3 ish combos

Nice video btw, but your weapon at 116 lvl, i ended last boss with 130 ish. You cant do that much dmg if you are not overgeared.

And who stops you to keep your gear upgraded?

Like whats the point of grind in this type of games? You can still use summon or maybe put game into easy mode. Who stops you? Its up to you. I prefer not cheese game. Thats all.

that's a main mission, it stops you from being overgeared for the fight because you can't progress to endgame and come back like that guy did unless you already beat it

I guess you could go and grind levels somewhere else and overlevel the mission but that's boring and not the intended balance.

The damage increase is not significant because I lowered myself stat wise to a level decently lower than what most people are going to have. It’s so easy to be overleveled in this game just do all the side quests and find all the lacrima consumables. In that save I have like 30 or so lacrima consumables I haven’t even used and I’m still overleveled for the content despite killing myself and losing all my lacrima after grinding for crafting or testing. It’s also not far from the damage I did to her on my winning attempt.

Either way I keep getting told my damage is too high no matter what I do even if it’s on level. I made viper videos and people said my damage is too high even though I was literally given a save by a friend with 4 hours in the game post viper. So I made sure not to level past the level he went into the fight with and not to get more masteries than he had and still “omg too much damage”

I’m beginning to think people don’t allocate their stats properly or straight up are sitting on like a hundred unspent vengeance points.

Yeah its like go and kill 1st boss after half of a game. Like what's the point. The weapon power grow more after certain levels with all it extra attributes.

That video footage was post skalpel. That’s only two main levels. Hardly coming back from endgame. Again it’s also leveled down to 86. The recommended level for the very next side mission stage is 88

The level or you char wont do much like extra 3 dmg to your weapon from main stat is not big. But the level of your weapon, it is a lot, not just raw dmg, but all attributes aswel. Btw vengence points are good point, a lot of ppl dont know about it, i remembered about mine about at skalpel xD

point is you were still doing significantly more dmg than someone that followed the normal progression and fought her for the first time

i only found out about those points after I finished the game lmao but I was already doing very good damage to the last 2 bosses so I guess it wasn't that big of a deal
