True Ending Info. Spoilers !!

So to get the true ending of the game, you need to do all - ? (Or at least a few specific ones) sides missions and get the orange collectibles. This will then enable ( I think ) A conversation choice before the final boss where you "lock" your ending.

On my first play through I unfortunately selected the wrong choice and got the "normal" ending leaving me without the last achievement. (Final boss had 3 phases and what not but it was not true ending).

Since i'm a stickler for completion, I begrudgingly went into NG+ to get the True ending and get my final achievement. When you go into NG+, most, if not everything you had / have, you get to keep, including Khazan's memories AND the orange collectibles required for the True Ending.

My question is this : Can I just speed through the main missions until the final boss, and pick the correct choice that gives the true ending, or do I still need to do the bonus missions anyways ? Because some are almost main missions in terms of lore / knowledge.

I'm afraid that by doing (or not doing I guess) the missions you get some kind of trigger or what not that enables the true ending, and by just rushing Main missions I won't get it.

TL;DR : Can you get true ending, if you only rush Main story in NG+ ?(Have all memories / collectibles )

I would say so, as collectibles, soulstones, jarlings etc should carry over to NG +, however best to check if you have all collectibles still when entering NG +, have yet to do it myself, so can´t confirm or deny that one, but if you have all them! should be able to pick that option in Corrupted Lounge in Master of chaos mission

You have to get everything done before last boss. All main and side missions. All gold letters all main and side missions need to say complete. When you have all that done and when you see the girl from the crevice say i must know the truth. Then when you beat ozma in his three forms you will go to his room. Look at diary but do not!! i repeat don not!! look in the diary if you do you miss true ending. after seeing diary you will have option to look at the picture of all three of them.

what do you mean look at the diary but don't look at the diary or you miss the true ending? To be clear, I've gotten the true/first berserker ending with the achievement and I looked at everythjng

I'm sorry but Your phrasing is extremely confusing, you say to LOOK at the diary but not LOOK INTO it, and that after looking into it you can then look at the picture.

Looking at the picture is what ultimately transitions you to the credits, and you can't look at it if you don't look at the diary first, so i'm not sure what you mean by not looking Into the diary and missing true ending if you do ??

Also your entire reply describes HOW to get true ending, which I know how to, and doesn't answer the crux of my question at all xD

yea that post is nonsense. anyway, to the main question, i would suspect you need to do the side missions, but I do not know for sure. rushing the main questline would get you through things incredibly fast though so you could just do it and find out, you wouldn't lose much time if it turns out to be wrong.

if you did all side quests and have the as complete in Khazan’s memories and have alm epic collectibles, can I just speed run the main questline in NG+ for the True Beserker Ending trophy?
