Do you use them ? I mean, aside of cleanse potions ? you have throwable but never used them since the javelin is always better, infusion seems to be worthless in terms of added damage and most ennemies don't seem to have clear elemental weakness you can exploit which defy the purpose of having elemental infusion.

In Nioh for exemple you could really build around that. Here it seems it's in the game because it was in the project sepcifications.

And then comes resistance potion. But I havnt seen much difference in the speed the gauge rise up so... Am I the only one who found them underwhelming ?

always out of Salt and Willpower Orbs. And spamming 30% stamina regen boost consumable. 6 7 slots reserveed for throwables. 4 5 slots for debuff resistances, and cleanse.
2 for healing 3 for stamina regen boost.
I find them to be far more useful/necessary in this game than other souls/nioh likes. Stamina regen and weapon buffs are a must imo since the bosses are so damn health spongey, at least in the second half of the game.

Consumables fall under ranged like spear, they can be buffed. I use them all the time, I even take half boss hp bar before the fight even really starts.

Yeah but thats the point. Infusion add pretty much nothing. For the last boss, I tried every element and I add a +1 on every attack and +10 on brutal. I mean... Great but thats useless

I use stuff that gives elements to weapons. Very helpful with some bosses.

Oh no, it does add a lot. Might not work on the final boss, but many bosses suffer from elemental damage and sometimes they just "burn" away like 30-40% of the whole HP bar when enough is accumulated. Maluca and the tiger wolf are examples where elemental damage is massive against them.
