Worth it?
I played the demo, and had a good time. It was surprisingly very fun. Though it was a little bit too basic and streamlined, in my opinion.

Is it really worth the $60, or would it be best to wait for a sale>

Not trying to bash on the game, just curious what owners of the game recommend.

If you plan on grinding loot and doing NG+ then I'd say it's definitely worth it

If all you care about is the main story path then maybe wait for sale
I'd say I'm midgame now and I'm at 15 hours. The game is pretty decent and the gameplay is much fun! It's pretty challenging but the story is not really good. If you want to play for the story then wait for a sale.
It is worth it yes, that being said, you can get a key for a cheaper price
just be ready. the game is goesss harddd

If you are into challenging souls-likes with focus on boss fights and precise blocking, parrying and countering than you will love this game. Battles against imposing bosses are the star of the show while the rest is fine. Level design and exploration is one of its weakest aspects as most levels are linear with very little exploration or alternative path going forward.

It's by far my favorite game of 2025. As others have stated, it's difficult, but there are options to make it easier if you're struggling. If looking to support the developers but save some money, you can purchase from Fanatical and use the code FANATICAL15 to save 15% off. You would lose your ability to refund however, but if you played the demo, you should know it's for you.

IF you have Nioh 2 replay that game instead, this game is far too repetitive.
