Hismar was kinda misrable to fight
for starters dual blades is the worst choice they simply cant reach the damn thing.
for a giant dragon he doesn't do much outside of slam and fly

DW is the best with it's jumping spin attack (whirlwhind). the other styles struggle to hit Hismar's head with anything more than 1 hit.

Yeah I had to switch to that after a while and it still was a pain

Least favorite fight in the game by a mile. The spectacle of him isn't good enough to make up for how boring it is. A lot of the other fights look cooler and are a lot more fun.

I use dual wield and I had a very easy time with the fight.
Switch to great sword, use counter attack into slam. Round house kick the dragon in the head for 40% of his stamina bar. Never gets old

yeah DW is probably the best tbh lol. Whirlwind. The fight still sucks but they are prob best option.

It's just objectively one of the worst gimmick fights in the history of videogames. Awful design through and through.

It'd be nice if they just made his head like 1 foot lower to the ground, or his claws target-lock-able. I have a feeling my big vertical charged greatsword hits will be fine thoughwhen I get there on my ng+ run, so that'll be nice this time around.

NGL, just dont even bother trying to hit his head and just wait for his combos to finish with his head in the ground. His moves are so predictable.

This. It would've been so much better if my normal attacks could just hit while he was neutral.

If you are too bad to hit a huge dragon that is constantly standing on the ground cuz you only focus on the head that's purely a you issue and you should stop blaming other people for your own failures.

Hitting the feet is half damage. He is a brink guard fight, through and through. You brink guard and wallop em in the head, that's how the fight goes.

¨true¨ fight with ozma is more tedious imo

What? You can not hit his legs, you and either hit his horns or head straight. It is nice to see a dimwit that just spams passive-aggressive trash talk while not have an idea what the hell is he talking about, typical "true gamer(tm)" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Nice to see more people getting further into the game and facing the more frustraing / tedious boss fights. Bosses in the last third of the game were a slog, no matter how cool they might have looked.
