I'm currently using the fugitive mage set, heartbreaker: fury is good when dealing with multi-attacks but I really miss the poison from devourer.
Going to see what the fleshripper set offers next.
If you think that is good try the Bishop set (weapon, amulet and ring), where the Furious Swipe move allows charged skills to only take up ONE pip and the charge is near instant. Its a stunlock monster and with the built in brink dodge you can use it for free basically.
If you use this with the Inner fury charged skill, your clearing screens, your stunlocking multiple enemies, and you chipping away at the enemies stamina gauge.
I use the Bishop set with the dragon set for the fury perks and I almost never run out of fury if I use my skills correctly.
Can't say I ever run out of fury honestly xD. Even spamming my skills that cost 2. The defector set is giving me 0.3 per charge and each charge is activating a regen and if the charges hit, the damage makes the fury go back up. Even using the 5 cost move from the fugitive mage set, barely makes a dent on my fury stocks haha. NG+ is a lot of fun so far, but really curious to see what legendary gear brings to the table. Hopefully not just one more stat allocation.
I heard its each set/gear pieces gets another FIXED affix, so this would mean more potential to make powerful builds through mixed sets, but that is just me speculating.
