Haven't got to third yet, got him down to about 30% in second but he can combo chunk my hp so he's actually killing me before running out of heals unlike other bosses.
Honestly I'd like the fight a lot more if the first phase just didn't exist lol. Second and third he's more aggressive and you can spend a good amount of time trading blows instead of just running around dodging a mine field while he floats away.
It is a difficult boss but I think phase 1 is indeed kinda annoying with all the stuff on the ground, but you can reduce a lot of it by staggering or parrying. I think it would be nice if they had a lower duration while on the ground.
I had issues with the 2nd phase cuz it was very hard to see what the boss is actually doing with all the effects. It's not a bad boss but I think it could have been cleaner overall.
"Not being able to level your gear passed 147" what? I have a 164 great sword O.o.
