Trokka is a bad designed boss

I wear one of the heaviest armors in the game, i have the set for 30% less damage and she still kill me with 2-3 shots on easy mode. I have strength build with 50 strength and 30 Vitality and a greatsword and can not hit her couse she teleports and dodges like crazy hurling spells. I tried poison on her and seems poison does not have effect. I use the spider set that is supposed to boos poison damage.

I am stuck on this boss for second day now. Yes maybe i am not as good as you on this games but i did not had the same problem with previous bosses. And this is also on easy :D

So your build sucks, you didn't understand any of the mechanics and didnt even try to understand them? Yea surely the boss is overtuned Clueless

I did it with greatsword 70 strength 10 vitality. If you can reliably evade her ranged attacks then just stand close to her and bait a close range attack so you can use your counterstrike skill (guard skill tree)

I also used the devourer set to 100% poison on a brutal attack, you are correct she is immune to poison.

Bro i struggled the same with GW and switched to dual wield and after that easy game .Do not listen to trolls here they play with noob weapons like spear and dual wield this is why they say that this boss is easy

Ye bro it's a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. She applies status effects and reduces your stamina to 50%, she is immune to poison, kills me with 3 hits with one of the heaviest armor in the game and she still does damage trough block. And all this on easy mode. Also with brutal strike i take like 1% of her health :)) I played a lot of Soulslike games and never saw a boss so badly made.

I have a sneaking suspicion stamina is whats holding you back here. Whats your agility rating? If it's not A I think the quicker bosses like her become way more difficult (at least for me) you need to be aggressive with her and stamina management is key for that. You should also use Keshta as your phantom if you have him leveled at all.

My agility is A. The problem is that i can't hit her properly with my combos cause she moves all the time away from me and yes i am constantly low on stamina from chasing her trough the whole area. My best attempt was to take maybe 2/3 of her health and then i am out of heals and she kills me trough block with her spells :) Also when i use phantoms she kills them so fast that they are almost useless :)

So I can only tell you to stay in close combat and just learn the pattern, she always does the same thing anyway. In the shooting star phase don't defend but dodge ) blue jellyfish give stamina buff. it's not hard if you're close to her all the time you'll knock her down easily

I used greatsword the entire game. You just have to switch up your skills sometimes if other ones aren't working. For this boss in particular, furious swipe came in quite handy as it let me close the distance.

I had issues because I play brink guard spear and this boss really wants you to dodge into her combo and then retreat to reset. She was easier than pretty much every boss before her it is just a play style adaptation shock.

i have almost the exact same stats as you, and i play on normal, and she is not THAT bad. Yes, she does have some hits that hit pretty hard, but those are all very telegraphed. The main thing about Trokka is that you need to focus on dodging, poke her a bit, then bait out a major attack so you can land a counter-attack and stun her, so you can go to town.

she is above anything else a patience fight. You need to learn her patterns, focus on dodging, and learn her windows.

Dont forget that the 30% reduce dmg is 50% chance only.
