Far too much health after the midway point, and you're forced to repeatedly die and learn their moveset instead of relying on your actual ability to play the game.

Not a fan of the "Simon Says" method of boss encounter. Rather tedious, actually.

More HP doesn't mean more mechanics. It's just the same mechanics for a longer period of time. It's the most dull way to do difficulty.

Lol what? How do you think games do difficulties exactly? Bosses have "X" moves, they do them normally in a rotation. The longer you take to beat them, the more you see the rotation. Just wait till you see the final boss. Guy has like 40-50 moves and if you see that rotation more than once, you're either doing no damage, or you're a super defensive individual lol.

Making HP sponges has been known as literally the most lazy way to make things "difficult" since the dawn of time. Stretching things out and making them take longer is easy. It's just numbers. Inflate the numbers, make the fight take too long, and eventually the player makes mistakes. It's boring and tedious.

What build you were you guys running? I swear Bellerian, Skalpel and Rangkus were an endurance run of like 10m or so. Definitely more health than they should have.

Idk, the lengths of the fight are definitely longer than a Nioh fight, but being properly geared and on level the fights take the right amount of time for me. I think theres a threshold where requiring endurance (doing the fight correctly for an extended amount of time) is a valid part of difficulty, though I would personally say that the fights in the game for at least NG definitely push my own personal limit. But I do find pretty much all the fights thrilling enough that the feeling I get beating them feels pretty satisfying for how much of a slug match some of them are.

Definitely doesn't. Only one boss should take you anywhere near that.

skill issue, or u forgot to use new gears

The spider Boss is the only one I've fought so far that seemed to have too much HP. Either way, I'd rather the game be slightly too hard than too easy. Learning boss movesets and feeling like I earned the win is what makes these games fun to me.

No, it doesn’t. It’s 100% a skill issue. Once you know what you're doing, one opening window can deal about 1/4 their hp.
No... no it does not. Have you even played the game?

More than just a bit, I'd say. lol. They need to lose like 20% HP. It's the main complaint I'm seeing everywhere about the game. People think the bosses are a slog because of HP bloat and how long and drawn out the fights are.
Naw the real problem is the bosses with white stamina bars that just have infinite stamina regen if they back off for half a second. If their stamina even thinks about recovering, there goes all your progress.

Health bar bloat would not be a problem if more fights were like Viper where they just don't regen stamina in the first place. Bosses are way too agile in that they can just create space you have no hope of crossing in time to stop their regen from starting. It is the single biggest complaint I have, that is literally cheating, they can regen stamina while I an hitting them but I can't THAT is unfair design. Bosses having a lot of health? Expected. Bosses having tricky combos that sometimes go on a bit too long, nothing new sekiro did that too, you can manage it with practice. Bosses just ignoring your damage and recovering all their stamina after being brought to about 10% stamina? Not cool. If they beat on me my stamina doesn't just keep coming back, I have to create space and/or stop doing actions that take stamina but them? Naw they can just turn on an unlimited stamina cheat at-will NBD. As soon as I see a white stamina bar I know the fight is not going to be fun.

Human bosses has regen stamina but they also run out of stamina after doing combos. Just brink guard their combos then you can break their stance after a few attacks. If you run out of stamina too, some spirit skills not using stamina at all.

Its not 15 mins but it does take a long time to kill them and I am brink guarding most of their attacks it would be much longer if you're only dodging, also stamina is so low in this game I put some points in stamina and all my gear gives stamina, but still it feels like i have no stamina after brink guarding a boss combo I can't go all out

I just beat the spider boss I would say the Deer boss Valbion or whatever its name is had more hp

I think the bosses were all tuned with the original scaling the game had in the demo, so your weapons would have done 20-30% more damage. When they decided to nerf the scaling, the bosses weren't changed and now we have fights that were well tuned for the original damage dragging on a bit too long sometimes, especially after the half way point in the game. Some of those guys are just damage sponges.

Definitely make sure you're keeping your gear up to your level and it'll help, and I can't overstate the usefulness of using elemental consumables to give your weapon statuses to build up, or to throw at them. Still, I agree that some of these bosses just take forever to kill. I'd say for me that 3-4 minutes is the sweet spot, but I've had several take over 5 or 6 on a perfect run and that ♥♥♥♥ can feel tedious.
