Is "Swift attack" the sprint attack for all weapons?
I believe it is but can anyone confirm this as I'm trying to make a build around the great sword sprinting attack.

Normal Attack is Swift Attack
Great sword spinting attack is either a shoulder ram, or holding it to do an overhead cleave. Either way, there really isn't a build around it, as it doesn't have a follow up outside of standard charge moves. I mean you "Could." do phantom veil, into the over head, into an immediate limit break potent blow. That could work I guess?

Swift attacks are the normal attacks.

Potent blows are the heavy attacks. On the skill tree it says that above the first skill on each tree.

It depends on how you define "build" as the dash swift attack that is the leaping slam has gotten me through most of the game due to its homing ability alone.

Should use the spirit form of it then. Does more damage with the same homing.

I use both. I even have the greatsword ability (erupt) on the spirit one that causes and earth quake after effect.

I'm a jumping bean with my current build lol.

Also to add they do not have the same homing as the normal attack reaches much further and it cost nothing to close the distance. Its also it excellent for catching a boss with low stamina as it can keep pressure on them very easily, so utility wise the normal version is the best and the spirit one is for damage.
