Two words for your Maluca skill issues: FLASH CUTTA

From all the crying here, I was expecting Maluca to be somewhat difficult. What a let down. Maluca did nothing more than make clear that NO MATTER HOW OBVIOUS THE DEVS MAKE IT, infantile nerf-lovers will NEVER, EVER change their strategies, and will keep spamming the same combo they used to kill the early-game bosses as they get rinsed over and over, then cry to the devs for a nerf when their "strategy" fails.

Let me repeat: they could not make it more OBVIOUS how to win this fight. You have a boss with powerful attacks that strike from great distance, but are heavily telegraphed and on a long delay.

So...wouldn't it be great if the PLAYER *also* had access to an EVEN FASTER long-distance attack that was also extremely damaging? And what if the attack could even be CHARGED to match the delay on Maluca's attacks? And what if it CANCELED incoming damage if timed right, meaning the player would ALWAYS win the trade? And what if all the player had to do was let go of the button (improving reaction time), and the window to do so was much larger than a perfect guard? And get this, what if a successful attack would STANCE BREAK the boss? Certainly there can't be anything like that in the game...nobody would be complaining then.

And yet here we are: FLASH CUTTA is in the game, and anyone with a first-grade reading level can read the skill descriptions and see that it's a direct counter to everything Maluca does, yet Souls-like tourists would rather bang their heads against the wall for hours and hours instead of doing a few minutes of reading and thinking (I saw someone on reddit claim 7 hours of attempts with no dead boss).

This is so basic and obvious--like the boss order charts in Mega Man games. You have people here doing the equivalent of fighting Quick Man with Bubble Lead, losing over and over, and then crying for nerfs because they aren't smart enough to figure out to use the "Time Stopper" on the fastest boss. That slowing down time would be a direct counter to a speedy enemy eludes them--they just cannot make the logical connection. And it is the same thing with Maluca and the FLASH CUTTA. It has completely destroyed my faith in humanity.

Nope, died once because katana took me by surprise then killed it next attempt. Pre nerf Phantom heatwave was broken and is still broken.

Farm the red graves, remove points and try the dual blades, its not that hard. Seriously you people suck its not that hard. I beat him with the spear but if I needed to I would have switched.
