Canceling Javelin throwing?

I am probably dumb but I can't figure out how to stop aiming the Javelin once I hit Left Trigger on my controller? I have to use all my Spirit Whatevers to get out of Javelin aiming mode.

I think you just let go of left trigger when aiming. It should cancel it.

Yeah my controller or my PC or the game or Steam were glitching. Or some combination of two or three of those. Or all four.

yea you just let go.

Yeah. When I first unlocked the skill and every time I used it in that game "session" it basically locked me into aiming mode and the only way out was to use up all my spirit charges. I quit the game, made this thread, had a sandwich, and when I started the game up again it was working correctly.

For all I know, it was the sandwich that did it. Did all of you have sandwiches?

If all else fails, just tap dodge or block to cancel out of it.

Suprisingly, none of that worked.

I assume it was actually a controller glitch. Every once in a while I'll load a game and a specific button won't work as intended. I recall GTA V Enhanced doing this with LB recently too.

I had a problem when fighting viper damn equipment menu came up I must of pressed the Start button.
