Hismar
I really liked the game and its bosses, but this lizard really stands out from all the others. The fight is dull and boring, it is almost impossible to hit the boss, all what you doing its are just waiting for him to stick his head in the ground, very exciting.

dull? boring??? are we playing the same game i found this boss pretty easy compared to most bosses as using the skill giant hunt works WONDERS on him to destroy his tusks and create free damage opportunity. and the whole fight is cinema, all you need to do is wait for his head to be close to the ground or when he does his head slam attack that's when you are meant to punish him. your not meant to go full ham on him its meant to be an endurance fight and his attacks are insanely telegraphed for that reason.
That's why he's boring and the easiest boss in the game, сonsidering the overall pace of the game, Hismar very slow

Yeah, considering rematch side missions, I was worried one of them might be a rematch against Hismar. Thankfully, there was no mission like that. The devs were probably aware how boring the fight is.

The fight was not boring lol. Its a spectacle, you are meant to just enjoy the scenery of the fight and I hate peoples mentality of "I cant just slap the thing the entire time without thinking so its bad". Brother have patience, would you enjoy it more if subway surfers played at the bottom of your screen?

It's way too long and you're literally just waiting for him to slam his head down. I'm not very impressed by a big model running around anyway. If it was meant to be a "spectacle" they should have just made it short like the divine dragon in sekiro.
ti’s the first souls-esk game I’ve played. If I can beat it (normal), sure anyone can.

Unfortunately, there's nothing to see there. A huge lizard is jumping around the screen :).

I didn't write that I can't pass it. The boss is just bad.

You don't have to wait for his head to come down. That's just a you issue. The fight took very little time for me. I do agree that he is easy though, I got him on my 3rd try already.

Brother. Hismar was one of the shorter fights in the game for me. If you're that impatient you can also attack its feet if you want. It was still a great fight, easily one of the best in the game instead of "insert here me chasing human boss around the arena non-stop"

Without question it's my least favorite fight. It's so slow and tedious.

I tend to agree with OP here. The fight is pretty boring. It's just a big enemy with a vast amount of health and yes most of the time you're just waiting for the head to drop on the ground...
This fight may have been influenced by boss fight's like Bayle the dread, but unfortunately this one isn't as entertaining.

I wouldn't call it dull and boring but yeah, for me it is definitely one of the worst fights in the game. I enjoyed almost all the other bosses more that Hismar.
I'd call it Demon of Hatred, but bad. You're always waiting for the same 2 openings instead of being able to completely punish his moves like you can with DoH. The one good thing is that this fight is not skippable, unlike DoH.
