I expected the prices you quoted. Honestly, $60 for standard and only $70 for deluxe is a steal these days (where the prices you said are unfortunately being allowed to become standard) AND there is a demo to try out that is literally the first level of the game with progress transferred to the real game if you end up buying? This can't be Nexon, I don't believe it.

the price definitely is a taller hill to climb compared to your average souls games but so far its worth it. It's definitely in the level of Lies of P or Sekiro if not better.

Honestly, the market right now should be even happy I am buying video game there hasn't been any innovation in the last 10 years, its the same slop over and over. Look at nintendo with metroid prime 4 its the same slop I played years ago, Same with this game just another souls game with a texture pack.
