Just craft it, I used it from the moment I could craft it until the very end where I had to switch to Whirlwind set for one stupid boss.
You get full set of Butcher without weapon very later in the game. If you want to farm it previously it is random in certain missions but I would just look up where is the scroll for crafting it and get that one.
