thats just my experience though. might wanna get further opinions. I have a 3090 so im not exactly top of the line here tho
As with most "denuvo lag", it's only really there in your mind unless your PC is really REALLY cheeks. Specifically in the ram/storage departments.
Doing testing of games with and without Denuvo, it's not noticable at all on a reasonably modern gaming pc. My PC is pushing 7 years old and it was midrange back then and I've never had any lag show up in any testing whatsoever on any denuvo games, and comparing them to versions without denuvo, there were no real changes in either direction.
I'm on max settings with 120fps (my monitor frame cap) and it's flawless. Not a single jitter or hiccup so far.
And with other tests, the main issue usually seems to be file size, not really lag, or the lag seems to be rather minimal (Single digit frame differences at 4K) and can often be chalked up to optimizations. Most devs are quite good at "hiding" the encryption "lag" these days.
