bare minimum though you can dip in and out of it. the phantom brutal attack is very strong so you can change into phantom for the brutal attack and then swap back out and that fully replenishes your stamina. that said I think its supposed to be more like a 4th weapon. yeah you can poise through everything but you would be better off using brink guard and parrying. I also noticed that doing back dash attack into forward dash attack seems like pretty high damage output on bigger enemies who get shotgunned by the arrows
Also why is the other phantoms stat buffs and nothing else? I was expecting maybe something like in Wo Long with the guardian spirits that each have unique moves, but they are simply simple stats added to your character ;(
