DS Controller not detected

Game doesn't detect DS controller. I can only use it with steam input but then I have those awful xbox buttons. Anyone else having this issue?

Got it working by enabling steam input.
I've noticed that with dualsense controller game controller menu showed dualsense controller but prompts were from xbox. After starting game it correctly shows playstation buttons

EDIT 2:
Actually you have to start game with steam input disabled. Launch game, go to settings, ensure that it shows DS in controller menu(have to use m/kb because DS doesn't work at this point) and then enable steam input. After loading game it shows ps buttons.

Now for some reason game doesn't recognize L1, great.

Unfortunately that's how it is with this game. There is no way to get the DS button layout in game, even though the game supposedly fully supports the DS.

The game is supposed to have dualsense support but it doesn't work.

It's the only controller I use and despite what settings I use I always end up with xbox buttons.

I use bluetooth, steam input displays xbox buttons, when steam input is disabled the controller doesn't work at all.

I turned everything off in Controller settings and changed Playstation Support to
" Enable in Games w/o Support" and it worked.

You still see the Xbox prompts in the Menu but you see the PS5 controller in the settings and the right prompts. If you start the game all works

i use wired connection , cant say nothing about BT

You're still emulating xbox controller you still seem to have steam input enabled for the game. Which is the problem for people that they don't want xinput button mapping.
Go disable it, and close the game.

He says he has Xbox button prompts and thats how i got Playstation prompts.

its say its using games built in support.

Its kinda buggy, it shows the xbox prompts in the Main Menu but ingame its all fine, everything works fine.

It is some conflicting setting you have enabled, right click on the game/properties/controller, and next to your playstation controller select disable, let the game override steam input settings.

Dualsense and PS button prompts works perfectly in game.
So it must be either this, or some other setting, hope you will figure it out.
If you are running some 3rd party app like DS4Windows, turn it off.

I have no 3rd party Apps , like nothing and it didnt worked at all.
i changed couple settings and boom it worked.
i dont know whats going on with this game lol.
looks like its just bugged

Yall tripping.. I plugged my DS edge in and didn't have to change or setup anything and see my PS buttons. Also even have adaptive triggers so you gamer's need to correct your controller setup for steam.
