I Don't Like the Fact That I Can't Switch Back to Normal from Easy
I enjoy fighting bosses but not regular enemies, so I switch from normal to easy but just learned I couldn't switch back to normal again in the current gameplay. I don't like that.

Don't worry, the game is hardlocked to easy for everyone now that the bosses have been nerfed. There was nothing you could do by changing the settings back and forth. You would have been stuck with an easy, nerfed game regardless of which difficulty you selected.

They nerfed 2 bosses and buffed 6. If anything, they made the game harder, so stop spouting your elitist venomous BS for someone who never even played a game.

Because beating the game on normal difficulty is one of the steam achievements. Not summoning is another.

People will grind their asses off to do this. I know I have. I'm at boss #14, at the end, playing on normal, haven't summoned once. Would be stupid if someone could unlock the same achievements by just playing the entire game on easy and then swapping to normal on the last boss

Many games have an achievement for beating it on the hardest difficulty, but they allow switching difficulties back and forth at will. All they do is disable the achievement if you even switched. The achievement is not, or at least it should not be the reason to lock the difficulty. I also don't get why they blocked switching to the higher difficulty as it's pretty normal and expected thing to do.

I'm not interested in getting all the achievements. I just like the challenges from those bosses. I find it's annoying to me that I have to clean my way to meet next boss in the game. That's why I switched to Easy mode. I wish I noticed the difficulty setting in the game earlier.

I prefer it stays locked if you switch, adds a sense of finality to a decision. Great contrast to a lot of games nowadays where you can switch difficulty as you please, basically neutering a game whenever it's "too hard". I like that I have to continue to get better or I just lose.

The easy mode is like normal anyways

Okay, then that's good. To be honest, I didn't see differences other than life bars of enemies were kinda shorter than in the normal maybe?:BMW_MAD:
