Ghost Relic - How to use? (potential spoilers)

I found one of these and it says it is used to awaken Adelhaide the Philanphropic, it may be of interest to a certain phantom.

I have absolutely no idea who or where that is. Anyone know?

At Blade Nexus access the Phantom Menu and there you unlock or upgrade your phantoms when you get relevant items. As you just said, you can use the Gohst relic to unlock Adelhaide phantom.

where'd you find it? lol that's the only one i missed. have you not been using phantoms? they're incredibly useful. go to any bonfire (those swords you upgrade your level from) and go to phantom. hover over Adelhaide the Philanthropic and press the button you're prompted to in order to unlock her (for xbox that's y). then if you like the bonuses she gives you can select her. they all level up as well and further abilities can be further unlocked w/ additional ghost relics.

I've used them occasionally but they are terrible, they die so fast, I just solo boss fights now.

I found it in the first area of the second map, it's hidden behind a building hanging from a platform on a rope you have to shoot down.

naw phantoms aren't summoned. they are inherent bonuses you get at all times. the ones you summon are spirit's of advocacy.

Yeah getting confused again (I'm old lol), I meant the spirits were rubbish but yeah I've definitely been using the phantoms in that case.

You need to upgrade the spirits as well, one of the phantoms improves them also.
