what does the jar symbol on the mission title mean
jar symbol 0/1 is it some kind of really hidden collectable or do I gotta do something else to get it?

that means there's a kodama, i mean jar collectible hidden inside a jar

You don't have to worry about that until a specific side mission called Jar Enthusiast. Everything will be explained in there and you can't find those jars until you do that mission.
