Maluca is unbalanced

This boss needs a nerf. I can 100% say that with certainty.

The devs are new to this so I guess it really shows. This boss is unbalanced. When you have a boss in the second phase that can put a status effect that can stop you from healing and he is LIGHTNING fast attacks that can kill you in one hit. You don't make him TANKY.

And I always have to say this cause people are simple. You can beat him, no one is saying you can't. That still doesn't mean he isn't unbalanced.

Btw I said this with a few bosses in lies of P and guess what....they got nerfed.

Edit: adding this. I switched to easy and he is still insane. Once again reiterating that he is unbalanced and the difficulty settings need an update.

Second edit: they just NERFED HIM AND VIPER ON patch not for 27th of March. And I take my bow 🫡

Playing aggressive vs her is the way to go. You'd be surprised how much of her attacks are punishable. It's just that she blocks in neutral, creating the illusion of having impenetrable defense.

I agree there, for the first few i was entirely passive to see what she did, but noticed as you said she blocks more or less everything, so had to be more aggresive towards her as a boss

She will block basically everything (While rapidly regenerating stamina) you throw at her until you get one of a few openings to attack her that she doesn't use to charge her shield, which she'll just do herself. Maluca was at least a high octane fight that had me trading blows with the weeb in a way that was actually fun. Elamein was me waiting 15 seconds or more for her to do something so I could sneak in maybe a hit, half a combo at best before it went back to waiting.

I already beat and moved past the giant tiger man. She just wasn't as enjoyable, so having to fight the highly mobile giant monster man instead was a breath of fresh air. Luckily she drops nothing I'd want anyway so I'm not going back to that until NG+

There's an alchemist that'll show up at some point. You have to do a side quest for her to get her "Kaleido". After you do that, you'll be able to upgrade your gear's level at her place down where the blacksmith is (in the death realm however). It's best to do this if you have a set you've crafted and want to keep relevant.

Idk about other weapons but charged greatsword dont care about her guarding. Just gotta be careful when the shield is glowing and be prepared to trade.

what are you saying? she is by far the most defensive boss up to that point. that doesn't mean you can't attack her at all, you just have less windows to attack than most other bosses. this is not really a complaint btw, i think she is tuned fine but to say she's not a very defensive focused boss is a baffling thing to say

there are ways to increase her attack frequency sure, but she has a sturdy shield that can nullify a lot of attacks, bosses generally don't have that feature do they?

Lol you show a video of a guy who has 7 heals and almost all the stats needed max to beat this boss. Do you have a video of a lvl 61 with 4 heals?
