"kill a granite jocko while it's staggered" Challenge

So what do they actually mean by staggered here? it does not seem to be when they are in the state where you can brutal attack them. He has 2 other type of "staggers", 1 where he wobbles around for like 3 seconds and another where he falls to the ground, also for like 3 seconds, which procs basically after the first 4-5 hits, making it very hard to kill him during that if that is indeed what they mean.

Anyone done this ?

Pretty sure staggered is when you knock em over and they fall on their back, same as Yetuga. Yeah, I did it when I was retrieving the hammer.

Actually just managed it, and yeah have to kill him when he is on the ground, or atleast before he stands up again properly, as i got him on the second before he stood upright again. So have to kinda tickle him with 1-2 light attacks to get him low and then go in for a full combo and hopefully get him to fall.

Not working for me, killed Granire Jocko when he was down, nothing, many times

UPD. worked on Joko in "Spider`s Tomb" near "Dead Spider`s Lair"

Finally figured out how to make him fall to the ground. I spent hours parrying and wondered why he never fell to the ground. Then I read this and try to spam potent blow and he fell. So yeah, "staggered" is kinda confusing here.

I did get the training done and it I killed it while it was staggered and standing.

I can't work this out. The monster doesn't have a single combo where it ends up on its back. Is getting it on its back something I have to force by hitting it at a certain point?

SOLUTION: try to make sure you're only hitting it in the head, this will cause it to fall on its back. best windows to head hit are brink guarding it's 3 hit combo or when it does its big jump punch and it gets its hard stuck in the ground.
