Khazan definitely doesn't need buffing.
People just need to stop judging a game strictly on an early boss. Later bosses you feel like you chunk their HP bars (Depending on your build and weapon choice mind you.) but an upgraded Giant hunt does so much damage and is so flashy for 2 spirit gauge lol.
I'm also judging from the thousands of hours I have in these types of games. I know what I'm talking about.
That's fine, but the protag doesn't need to be stronger. He starts weak because his tendons were cut and the phantom basically acted like venom and restored his vitality. However, he still has some growing to do to get back to full strength. You go from barely swinging a set of weapons, to being a damn blender/power house.
not to mention there have been significant buff patches in elden rings for various weapons and magic too
