Does anyone else feel like the character walking speed and animation are abit off?

I only played abit and beaten the first boss, but I like the way it feels.
However there seems to be this weird slidding the character does when walking. That is tied with a slower walking speed in comparison to the actual walking animation. I dont wanna get all technical, but in terms of feeling and immersion, this does feel abit off in the game.

I hope I'm not the only one, haha.
Oh and, if any dev is reading this, I hope you see what I mean ^^

I agree, I find it very strange and surprised no one during development brought it up to fix it
