how long will it take for devs to realise players need manual controller icon toggles

it's not much effort to just put it in the settings and it instantly improves any game with the option

Look at a controller and ask yourself what could I possibly be talking about

Uh i'm assuming he meant toggle between Xbox prompts, ps prompts or keyboard prompts? At least that's what i'm getting from it but you shouldn't die on that hill as if what you just said made 100% sense.

It's not like there's a ton of things that it could even refer to
I should've put controller instead of control though

only a true gamer never need to look at what the name of a button it says. You just know. And also who in their right mind uses a PS controller when their is the superior elite xbox controller =D

On my game they display as xbox buttons until I hit continue, then it switches to ps5 prompts until I exit to title again.

The game has automatic controller prompts
As in it attempts to detect your controller and set the prompts
But it never works properly

The xbox elite controller is over double the price
Not sure why I would want that

I have the same complaint. Getting Xbox controls no matter how I connect my DualSense (bluetooth or USB). I've even had it bug out where inside the game settings it straight up SHOWS MY DUALSENSE controller like it's active, but still gives XBox button prompts.

Same exact nonsense I had to put up with in Lies of P though in that game it at least worked when connected directly through USB.

OOOHHHH youre getting the wrong button prompts for your controllers and you want to manually change it in the settings but theres no option. yeah that seems like a basic option needed for a pc game with controller support
