DMG: Increases damage dealt to enemies.
However, DMG Multiplier: Increases the multiplier for damage dealt to enemies.
… yeah I have no idea lmao
2 and 2
3 and 3
4 and 4
I say skip stamina damage unless your weapon is good at that. (spear lol)
Dual wield barely ever gets off brutal attacks. 1 or 2 per boss so I feel like investing in it is kind of a waste.
Ill be doing some testing in the training ground once im back home.
Weak point hits
Back attacks
Damage to exhausted enemies
That’s my assumption. Could be wrong or missing some.
Essentially, DMG Increase is a straightforward enhancement, while DMG Multiplier Increase can lead to exponential damage growth depending on your build and other stats. If you're aiming for consistent damage, DMG Increase might be the way to go. But if you're looking for explosive damage potential, DMG Multiplier Increase could be more rewarding.
Stamina dmg would be useful for anyone who runs a spear build as it's the best weapon for wrecking shields.
DMG increase would be aimed at Great Sword for raw power per blow
DMG multiplyer for dual wields burst DMG through things like phantom blade with whirlwind etc.
I play mainly dual wield right now as I prefer it, so I have invested the first 2 points into each but will primarily focus on DMG multiplyer with a little overall DMG. That way if I can't get a flurry of hits off, I at least hit a tad bit harder overall.
Damage increase = increases your base damage
That base damage is amplified by damage multipliers
So in a nutshell both are good ut damage increase is slightly better than multiplier.
Sounds like what I expected, so if you are stacking general damage its best roll BOTH of these on a gear piece.
