Stop expecting the vast majority of the playerbase to do no hit runs.
its beyond pathetic and unreasobable to expect the vast majority playerbase to meet this standard so stop acting like these videos where people are doing no hits are valid because they are not.

of course they are valid. Just because you can't do it yourself doesn't invalidate someone else. What is this reasoning? lol

You can play the game however you want, tank up and take damage, be a parry god, try to dodge everything, use a lot of buffs, heals, or applied elemental damage to your weapon and go to town.

Whichever way you go, it's all valid. And the idea that one is more or less valid than something else is really narrow minded of you.

No hit runs videos shows that a game is properly designed with fair mechanics (no forced damage)

no you do not understand my point at all. its perfectly valid for the people that do this sort of thing. but it is 100% invalid to expect the majority of players to meet this standard.

a great example is speed running. its valid for the people that do it sure but is it valid for the vast majority of players. NO.
Its the top percentile that can do no hit runs this early in a games life. They are super gifted. I'll just keep dying and levelling I suppose lol

This logic is friggen terrible. its like expecting someone to get a perfect in guitar hero simply because a small minority of people can do it. again these are not valid arguments.

yes and its pathetic to expect the vast majority of the playerbase to meet that standard. like i said it doesnt invalidate the accomplishments of the ones doing it but to expect the majority of the playerbase to be on that level is completely moronic.

Who is putting this unreasonable expectation on you, exactly?

Wrong genre for you i guess.

Git gud or play a action adventure of your choice instead.

On a mechanical level but you could make a boss have 10x the HP they have in this game and you can definitely still make a case that it is unbalanced.

What endurance are you expecting players to have.

Obviously here I think they are still under 4 mins right so it's not too bad. But yeah. There's more to balancing than just whether you can no hit run or not.

Also have to consider what options are even viable. or if you are forced to do quick attacks and then stop and if your creativity is limited.

No it isn't. What this shows you is that someone who cares enough to be good at a game, can do the things that the game demands of you. And those who do not care won't get there.

It's entirely okay to not want to put in that amount of effort, but noone is forcing you to. there are "Other songs" for you to play, in addition to "other difficulties" for you to tailor your experience.
I don't get it, is this a gripe with the amount of HP / damage dealt to the player? Or the difficulty in general?
There are plenty of items to use as help, mechanics to help you out, gear to spec for better defense/survivability, Easy mode / Normal Mode slider, Unless you're streaming or uploading your stuff nobody will know how many hits you took, or how many tries it took to complete an area/fight.

The skill tree has a bunch of stuff to help with guarding, sustain, mobility etc. So I have no idea what this post is supposed to be about...

The bosses have obscenely large health bars where it feels like you are running a marathon where a few mistakes is all it takes to ruin the entire attempt.

again you are expecting the average player to endure the entire fight on very little resources.
