I didn't carry over my save because I didn't play the demo, but from what other people have mentioned the scaling values were higher in the demo.
The demo weapons can be found in the main game without carrying a save over, at least the Greatsword can.
I do not know if the scaling is as strong as it was in the demo, but it's definitely overtuned compared to literally anything else you can get.
naw. this isn't true. i have videos of gameplay from the demo. they didn't have B+ scaling in it. when it transfered over the neglected GS got B+ scaling for w/e reason.

(this is from my playthrough where i beat the demo in 45 minutes)
i'm lvl 80 and i'm still using the Neglected GS from the starting area. later (much later), you'll be able to increase its level. right now my GS has 683 raw at lvl 72 and the next highest GS does 401, also at 72. in other words neglected has 70% more raw than the best next weapon. enjoy it while it lasts, i'm sure it'll be patched
