This game is Darksiders 4 change my mind.
Souls-like game? lol no. It plays nothing like a Souls game. Having hard bosses and the ability to dodge does not make something a Souls game. This is a Darksiders game through and through. They took everything that makes Darksiders 1, 2, and 3 great, and made a game with it and I'm here for it. It's a Narrative Driven, Action RPG Hack n Slash with plenty of hand-holding and turbo easy puzzles... just like Darksiders. You people calling this a souls-like are clowns.

yeah i played darksiders 1 and darksiders 2 several times and this game instantly feels like "darksiders 2 2", especially if you are playing dual-wield. i could describe it as darksiders 2 improved all around with a more involved and tough combat and the souls-lite game structure (checkpoints system, souls loss on death / pickup, stats system, weapons stat scaling, _mostly_ linear, as yes, dark souls and sekiro are not linear per se, but they are linear once you have opted into a "path")

Why? If you're right. A real soulslike shouldn't have a difficulty option to please p#ssy players.

If it's not a souls-like I may purchase it. I love the art style.
And of course the Darksiders adventures are great.

Play the demo your progress carries over if you decide to buy the game.

Imagine if Mr. Miyazaki's games had difficulty options, the concept of like a beating Malenia would be non-existent or ambiguous. Because players wouldn't do it under the same conditions for everyone.

What does grass have to do with it? I just choose AI Limit because I'm not interested in beating up dummies. Khazan looks to casual. GL and have a nice day, "Big Bro".

I wish they did have difficulty options and who cares about beating some npc lol You know what i do in souls games when i cant beat a boss? I summon someone to help me, so what makes that system any less cheap than difficulty settings?

Unnderstanding that someone else has passed the boss, but not you? You can also call on others to help you clear the location, but are you interested it when someone will essentially play instead of you?

Never finished a darksiders game, always lost interest and literally fell asleep playing darksiders 2 once.
This is a perfect blend of Sekiro and Nioh. A very fast paced soulslike and I'm here for it

Based on what I've played it of, seems more like Nioh, which I always found to be more enjoyable than Dark Souls anyway.

Lmfao did the OP play any of the Darksiders games other than 3? The first game is a mashup of DMC and Zelda OoT/MM, the second game went psuedo open world and used the trash Diablo gear system, and the third game was the one that tried to be a bargain bucket Souls game.

Where is the Sekiro? Sekiro had a great game world with great exploration and verticality due to you being able to jump, climb, grapple, etc. Khazan is a corridor runner.
