Easy Mode is Great!

I played the closed beta and checked out the demo after I heard about the Easy Mode! Its perfect! I think it's a bad idea to lock the choice behind the tutorial boss. This will scare off a bunch of people who would enjoy this game otherwise. Hopefully the devs will update this before launch.

I've done my time with Sekiro and Elden Ring, so I was going to bounce off this game if it was still as difficult as the beta. Happy to say I will be purchasing in the future.

I died around ten times on the yeti boss and never got the option until after i beat the boss, i almost gave up but im glad i didnt cause the easy difficulty make the experience much more enjoyable. After i finished the demo i decided to buy the deluxe edition and im glad i did cause im loving this game.

Interesting! Maybe its because it was during the boss? Since that is the final gatekeeper of the mission? The game says in the setting description it can't be changed until Mission 1 is completed. Otherwise, it could be due to the full game having an alternate parameter, as stated above.

Either way, I'm glad its more accessible! Spread the word for those who would be interested.

the 3rd boss, Viper, is ludicrously hard on easy mode...now im fked and cant go back to normal mode

Yeah I wish you could just turn it back to normal if you want. I'm having a rough day mentally and know I'm capable of getting farther, but if i put it on easy it's irreversible for some stupid reason.

If you cant beat Viper on normal u dont wanna swap back....all the boss fights are brutal on normal lol

I'd assume there's an achievement for completing on normal mode. You don't deserve that if you drop the difficulty when it gets hard then turn it back up when you're cruising. Struggle through or drop it to easy and casually play through it.

There isn't. There is one for NG and NG+ though.

You can actually switch it in the settings (files). Go to Appdata -> Saved -> The First Berserker -> Saved -> Profile Settings. Then just put the difficulty back to 'Normal'. Should work. Probably will be a mod soon to do this as well, so don't trip

Normal mode for me not going to be locked out of trophies for going easy mode. I like my games hard

How do I find the saved folder in appdata? I can’t for the life of me find access to it, I’m not very computer literate. I swapped to easy mode and like a dumbass I skipped the warning because I was frustrated with an optional boss.
