Elden ring base game and lies of P were easier than this. I think it's about on par with elden ring DLC, maybe slightly easier. Unlike elden ring, khazan is a frickin beast and if you do things right you just rip through anything in your way. In that way it's very similar to Nioh 2 where dodging and chipping down the boss takes a long time and is hard but properly chaining things and countering the boss can have you just bulldoze things exponentially faster.

Elden Ring was by far the atmost easiest souls game to be released into the market lol
It's "easy" only if you use all possible mechanics game gives you and also has a good build. If your build sucks, even mimic tear won't help you.

Unfortunantly, it's also factually wrong to claim ER was the "Easiest" souls game.

It was actually by far the hardest. The toughest/tankist bosses, the most aggressive attack combos, the hardest damage to HP rations (common isnta kills, or combos that kill you), and even the DLC had fragments that altered the difficulty forcing you to go searching for the macguffins to not insta die or to do anything more then chip damage.

Some people only think it's the "Easiest" because they're so familiar with the formula.
If they go back to the previous games and re-play them, they'd be horrified at how "easy" it is in comparison.

100% agree. I started souls games with Dark Souls 1 and ER had some of the hardest bosses I have ever fought (specifically Constort Radahn). Now the rest of ER was not really hard due to its open world nature, but the bosses were brutal especially the DLC ones.

In fact if I took the number of deaths I had against Consort Radahn and compared them to the TOTAL deaths to bosses in this game, ER would win in a land slide lol. That boss alone took me longer then any other action RPG I have ever played literally HOURS of deaths (before the nerf).

In ER you could not combo bosses to death but in this game you can literally stop every offensive attack from the bosses through the many many tools this game give the players. Which is why this game plays more like a Nioh game where early game its hard, but once you start getting a decent build together and get the mechanics down you can bully bosses.

ER is the only FromSoft souls game I've finished, so I know what you are talking about. It is a contradictory game. It is both the hardest and the easiest. It's hard because of everything you wrote, and it's easy because you do have a lot of tools at your disposal, including the summons. And then there are some OP weapons like the blasphemous blade or moonveil. So yea... tbh I am not ER fan, even though I spent close to 500 hours in it + the DLC

Apart from a few bosses, Elden Ring wasn't that hard. Levelling up has more of an impact in that game. Also you could upgrade weapons and such.

wouldn't say harder, just more tedious and bosses are too spongy (have too much hp).

The little I’ve played I want to say stamina consumption is what has been kicking my ass lol :re3charlie:

They are just spongy if you don't do good dmg.
