Yupp, you guys are right!
It is lol. I beat Lies of P pre nerf.
Viper is way harder than father whatever pre nerf. Everything in this game has long attack strings and a ton of health.
It kinda feels like they wanted the game to have crazy hard bosses throughout in this.
Like you are getting KH3 remind encounters from the beginning. Lies of P final boss type stuff right away (boss 3 and 7) Arguably harder.
They push mechanics too. Like that part of it feels like remind. Because the status effects are evil in this game. The mechanics are noticeable too because fights last a while. Boss #7 chaos mechanic is evil.
Boss #4 fire damage is evil because it teaches you that you will get damaged even if you block attacks, which you'v ebeen doing up until that point likely. also his floor is lava mechanic.
