The issue is that I'm out of pots in phase 2 so even if it's easier the first phase essentialy wore out my resources.
i did have damage on parry and i eventually was able to parry most of his attacks. the only stagger window i had was after he does the tornado and he has a new attack pattern. it was only this new combo that would cause him stagger! outside of that it wasn't possible to stagger him because his attacks were too frequent. was i supposed to put more points into poise/stamina damage? seems like focusing more on str for damage is a noob trap?
An actual easy mode that trivializes the bosses and you can get through the story. A normal mode similar to the one now but maybe a little less damage from bosses and you hit a little harder. And a hard mode that is even a little harder than the normal mode is now.
The quote is pretty much what I would expect from easier difficulty with addition of longer parry and counter windows, ideally. One of bigger challenges in fight is to keep up your stamina high so you can use it either defensively or have enough of it to launch attack when boss is exhausted. I had so many moment where I finally managed to exhaust Viper only to realize I have almost no stamina left so I could not punish the boss. Having more stamina and mobility is a big advantage.
I did him 2nd try
legs then play aggresive, gl
You guys need to git gud and lvl up properly, some skills are pretty meh for bosses so try something else?
or don't touch souls games
Elbethium has a video up on this and tbh, once you fight him long enough, you will find his moveset a piece of wee-wee. If you played Nioh, it's like getting mauled in the ship with the first boss and your brain is going mad trying to figure it out ha! Just relax, take a break after a few attempts, but in the end, when you beat him as you will know all his tricks, you will realise he's not that bad really - HFGL :)
