Is it to hard?
Like to "unbalanced/unfair/unfun - for a Soulslike" hard? Some reviewers are crying that normal felt unbalanced for them.

I like hard - i dont like bad balance.

Dont troll with ez mode - i did all FS games solo. Just give me honest opinions without BS. Does it need tuning?

unfortunitly they cap you at weapon mastery 16 until you beat him so good luck with that.

just suck it up and play on easy till nexon nerfs his ass and i can tell you its coming.

Can't see them nerfing it if people can swap to easy and pass it just fine.

Nerfs come when they are scared people have no other options.
hes harder than any boss in nioh 1 and 2. he 100% deserves a nerf.

also the stupid phantom running into his tornado attack needs to be fixed.

whats the point of having one when he gets clapped halfway through the first phase because it wont avoid the attack.

I put a lot of time in the demo only and it feels like it's a fair difficulty.
Unlike Dark Souls or Nioh which has sometimes insane challenges with annoying mechanics that just insta kill you for no reason. Khazan is just a fair game where you're supposed to lear n the mechanics.

yea uhhh how do you learn to stop the phantoms AI from killing itself by running into vipers tornado attack.

that is so fair let me tell ya. the epitome of great design. your entire post just reeks of i have made it that far into he game yet.
Once you change to easy you can't go back to normal at all. You need to start a new game.

its better than being walled off from the rest of the game till nexon fixes the viper fight.

it could probably be beaten with the help of the phantom if the phantom didnt constantly run into vipers spinning attack and then dies.

Not a all, it's very easy.

The first two bosses were. Viper is a bit much IMO.

For one thing the game doesn't reward you even in the second phase for burst countering him. The Monster just keeps going. The windows are weird.

Consumables are almost mandatory I think. Especially that stamina regen one. I'm going to have to go farm some stuff.

I'm guessing he's also weak to water?

i just put it on easy and did it without the phantom.

the phantom is crap until nexon makes the AI run when he starts his tornado move. also its not just that.

the AI is friggen stupid.

The start of the game is challenging but not super difficult. If you are looking for DS3 or Sekiro difficulty you probably won't find it here. I would compare the combat to wukong or gow, it's not exactly the same but feels very similar. You can be offensive and it is rewarded a lot if you play well.

Maybe the game gets much harder later on but I feel like it's more like a decent challenge but with a high skill ceiling on the player combo and parry side.
God of War is what I can feel in the combat. I wasn't a fan of Wukong personally but its alright. I don't get the personal hype. I was trying to think what this combat was like though. God of War is definitely the feel at least with the dual wielding weapons. Haven't switched to the others. Especially with the Guard timing on attacks.

Is it too hard where you get mad at the screen and squint?
