Yah I get it. Eternal struggle of the PvE hero that treats everything like it's ranked PvP.
So long as they aren't dumbing down the difficulty without an option to opt out and play hard mode, nobody should care.
There was a time, many moons ago, where this was happening. No option to increase difficulty, everything built for uber casual players. I found that concerning, then Demon's Souls got an NA release and the industry seemed to shift back towards difficulty in PvE games.
This game actually continues to grant experience even if you're dying repeatedly on the same boss, you will literally out pace it by virtue of not being good enough for the content. Granting an easy mode just streamlines that for people who don't like to beat their head against a wall.
You don't *have* to use the skillpoints you acquire. You always have ways of increasing your own difficulty other than just adjusting the settings.
He's looking a little too old to be a boi at this point.
Just how miserable are you that you cannot handle a difficulty setting in a game?
