Lies of P not worth it? NG+ in that game literally had new mechanics XD.
What a strange take.
I don't get people complaining about pricing on PC, you have choices, it's not like playstation where you can only get games for the full 70-80 euro price tag.
You unlock new tiers in the P organ system. And the usual amulet stuff.
ALso it maintains its difficulty better than souls games.
Which btw this game REALLY maintains its difficulty. It doesn't get trivialized.
The art style is pretty good for a AA game, the combat is smooth and I've been enjoying it.
The MC looks like a cross between young Nier and old man Nier.
Too many un-optimized games(I'm looking at you MH:Wilds) are being released by AAA devs, but somehow this game runs great on my pc, which is good to see for once.
>"indie"
???
More money went into this than the first two Dark Souls games, guaranteed, due to the IP and the amount of money Nexon likes to spend on it.
Also game's good. Three different defensive options to match preferred play style, three weapons with ~3-4 different ways each to build them for entirely different flows of play. Good enemy pattern design (at least so far. continued from my demo save.) Good art design. Looks like the kind of game that would hit 120fps on a decent rig with maxed graphics and without needing DLSS and it actually does for a change (actually can play it on DLAA without framedrops which makes me giddy.)
IDK, this seems like a winner, if a niche game.
Agree. And a contrarian opinion of mine is that FromSoft kind of lost creativity after Dark Souls 1 and just copy & pasted afterwards to milk the franchise. Maybe the exception are bloodborne and Sekiro.
NGL, I like Nioh more than Dark Souls, and this looks very good in a Nioh way.
Not sure I'll pay full price for it though. Too many games to buy at the moment.
