Ubisoft, Microsoft, EA, they all forgot how to make fun games. Now we need every race, sexuality and gender in every role in every game at the expense of quality. Couldn’t care less about somebody’s identity or sexuality. Nothing to do with me and I don’t want to be made to see it or care about it.

They're just mad cause they are gonna lose and they know it, wouldn't be surprised if they are being paid to push woke or are bots...
Honestly wouldn't be surprised either, as I dunno who can defend this idiotism for free in his sane mind. As well as saying we shouldn't bother being against it, like wok cultists did bother destroying my beloved franchises, now I gotta make them pay in return.

This game is doing pitiable numbers, less than Veilguard. Days from launch and not even top seller. L.

Shadows, meanwhile, riding high on woke politics.

You know what they say though. Go woke, go top seller.

Finally, a game that gets it. No forced agendas, no cringe storytelling—just hard-hitting, raw combat and a dark fantasy world that doesn’t hold back. Every swing of Khazan’s blade feels brutal, every battle is intense, and the game actually respects the player.

This is exactly what the gaming industry needs—a step in the right direction. No dumbed-down mechanics, no hand-holding, just pure adrenaline-fueled action. Meanwhile, the usual Twitter mobs have nothing to cry about because the game actually delivers.

I can’t wait to play this—finally, a game that puts action first. If more studios followed this path, gaming would be in a much better place.

Having played the demo I can say it's not a very difficult game. Maybe it's beefed up for the full release but even at the intended difficulty of the demo I, someone who sucks at timing, was a parry and dodge king. Definitely more hack n slash than soulslike.

I was being sarcastic and showing how ridiculous "woke bad" is and you proved my point by thinking I was being serious.

Yo do realize that AC shadows needs to sell more than 10 million copies to make it even...right? Those with a gamepass play it for 15 euros.... (Game cost around 400 million to produce)
Sure you can speculate the numbers by counting each platform (EGS, Ustore, ps, etc) and multiply the steam numbers by x5 and its still too low.

Topseller doesnt mean anything, it just says that a lot of gamekeys got sold in a short amount of time. The true value however lies in its long term showcase of games like dota2, cs2, rust, etc.

Also bad release timing as most are still playing MH wilds, i guess Kazhan sales will be affected aswell (i bought mh wilds too, noway am i gonna spend another 60 bucks rn neither do i have the time for kazhan)

In other words, i hope tencent is buying ubisoft so at least there is a chance that something happens with the rayman IP.

Imagine being an adult... at this time... and THIS is your existential crisis; how artists develop the toys with which you play with.

...Once again; this trend sounds like the language of desperate addiction problems.

Ubisoft just doesn't really make good games. Has nothing to do with woke/not woke. Let's be real. Literally always been C/B tier.

Agreed. All the new AC titles were low tier soulless trash.

Yep, Ubisoft really lost the magic after the older AC games. Shadows looks better, but it still feels like it’s missing that classic Brotherhood depth. Hoping they actually listen to feedback instead of just chasing trends

"No cringe storytelling"

What is meant by that?
That there is a garbage story in this or nonexistent story?
Because good writing is important to me in a game.
How is the story, guys?
